If everyone would just come back, I'd probably do it as well, but as I'm 100% sure that won't happen, I don't really know what to say.
I played before on that jka server, and I don't like the new "powers", and things you can do now. Last time I played, people got powers I wasn't even aware of. In any case, I forgot my user and pass and I truly don't have time to start it over again (the account was not that high anyway).
It's probably different now, so if I'm eating bullshit, I'm sorry.
It will just not be the same, the clan, its' history, the ages that the new members had to learn to pass the tests. It all felt so unique, I had so much fun passing those tests, fighting Dragon to show my dueling skills, damn.
For me, personally, even though I was a new member in BOSS, I still enjoyed every second of it.

I would at reopen it exactly the way it was, but still have the basic concept kept the same. But obviously not as it was because the game just is not that popular anymore. I mean its getting a little better but still. I honestly only want to hang around my old pals and talk for hours like we used to. Have some fun nice maps for us. easy fun place to be for all of us oldtimers that are still around! |

No. Some people just don’t see the thrill in coming back to a 14-year-old game like Chev, for instance.

How many is actually still active and playing the game? I have it installed and i hop on every now and then but its pretty discouraging not seeing anybody i know so i can talk to them. Every now and then i'll run into emerald or dr. donkey and thats always fun  Btw i'm sonic but i don't think i have that proboards account anymore but you can feel free to check my email that i've had since i started playing |

Hey Guys,
After a conversation with MVP, I was thinking about a few things:
How would members feel about reopening the Members only section of the forum? Just a new moderated general chat to avoid the flaming and spamming.
Also, how about possibly opening a server for just the holiday seasons (Winter Breaks and Summer Breaks) where BOSS members can play and do whatever on a server and just generally mess around and have fun?
Post a reply with your thoughts on this, and if it has enough support, I'll go ahead and get started with it!

I'm all in! I offered my help in any way possible since I have a lot of free time. It can be a server with password for just old people that want to come, and when the game picks up can just remove it! Any ideas and feedback would be greatly appreciated! Would really like to see some old facaes back Ingame, have some old school tournaments with players. Can be fun. enough people visit these forums! |

We could use the program called hamachi so someone could host a server from their home computer and only people in the "room" will be able to join, not sure if anyone remember it? its pretty nice if you wanna play some ppl without disturbence

Sure, but wasn't there a limit? Like only 5 people could join or something?
It could be fun, though, to fix a date when everyone could join and just chill, not 24/24 cuz we've got other things to do too, and if I'm available at 4pm, maybe someone else is at work. The weekend sounds great!
